Obituary for Michael Cotita
Michael Gerald Cotita, 71, of Temple, Georgia died on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram.
Born in Pensacola, Florida on August 13, 1947, he was the son of the late Marion Gerald Cotita and the late Gloria Keller Cotita. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Luis Gomez.
Michael served his country for twenty-two years in the United States Navy and he was a member of the Navy Seawolves. Michael was a five plus year member of the Warlocks M/C, and he was a founding member of the Cartersville Chapter.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Cotita; his children, Lisa Cotita and Jerry Cotita; his step-children, Irma, Nela, and Janet; his grandson, Diego Dearmon (Brittany), and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers, Glenn Cotita (Jill), Randy Cotita (Connie), and Tim Cotita (Missy); and his extended family, the Warlocks Motorcycle Club of Cartersville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
