Obituary for Bonnie Wooten

Bonnie Mae Dinsmore Wooten, 88, of White died on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Assured Inpatient Hospice Care. She was born on February 20, 1931 to parents James Dinsmore and Susan Glover Dinsmore.

Bonnie has many friends at Woffords Crossroads Baptist Church where she is a member and at Tranquility Assisted Living. She had a pleasing personality, even during her many years of suffering.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-six years, James R. Wooten; her daughter, Sheila Wooten English; her sisters, Clara Dinsmore Hood, Lucille Dinsmore Gantt, and Yownslee Holt; and her brothers, Troy, Carl, Howard, Ed, Roy, and Buddy.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Michael English; her grandchildren, Adam and Amanda English; several nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Lois Wooten Brown; her brother-in-law, William Wooten and his wife Kathryn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Keith Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Cemetery in Marietta. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.

Bonnie was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.

Flowers are appreciated but artificial arrangements are preferred by the family.
