Obituary for Ada M Brown
Mrs. Ada Mae Gravley Brown, 80, of Cartersville, died on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Born June 11, 1938 in Cartersville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Jefferson Gravley and Ruby Bohannon Gravley.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She loved to cook, garden, keeping house and tending to bird feeders. She also enjoyed sewing and watching TV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Brown, and 5 siblings.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel Brown of Cartersville, and Lewis Brown (April Beal Brown) of Cartersville; 1 granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend George Chastain, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Shinall Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Brown and Alton Brookshire.
